We always ensure an adult/child ratio of one staff member to eight children for 3 to 4 year olds and one staff member to four children for under 3s. This ensures that all children are supported and are able to develop to their full potential at their own pace.  Due to the high ratio of adults in the group and our keyperson system, we are able to observe and record each child’s developmental progress. Our keyperson system gives individual members of staff responsibility for a small group of children, so each child receives regular observation, adult time and attention.
